Unbelievably, the sod of the book of Revelation teaches the Golden rule. It is structurally beautiful because it is the counterpoint to the original sin in Genesis. In original sin we live instinctively, without thinking about what God said. "Me first". We are each tempted with that every day. The Golden rule says, "You first". It is the essence of both real love and real religion. You hit it on the head.
