Scott,

I've seen this in a number of places - expressed as early as in Genesis 15 (with God and Abram) through modern Bedouin practice, with a number of historical references in the Intertestimental period.

Ray VanderLaan talks about it some, as well, in <a href="http://www.followtherabbi.com/Brix?pageID=1952" rel="nofollow">his Bloodpath lessons</a>.

Ok besides saying xmas is a pagan holiday, The Savior was born on the First day of the Feasts of Booths and circumcised on the 8th day, (The Last great day). He came to live among us (Tabernacle).

Interesting article!

>If there was cause, such as infidelity, to break the covenant, the patriarch of the family violating the covenant could be subject to death, if the offended family so desired. This was a serious thing!
